Disability & Transit Training Series

Access to transportation is essential to keeping people with disabilities active in their communities, and it is important that transit providers are up-to-date with current best practices in disability etiquette, rider rights, and laws pertaining to service animals.

This series of three transit trainings are designed for transit service providers, community-based partners, and transit rider themselves. This training series is provided by Health by Design in partnership with the Indiana Statewide Independent Living Council (INSILC) and made possible through funding from the Indiana Governor's Council for People with Disabilities.

While registration is FREE, it is limited for both the on-site events and live stream options, so participants are encouraged to register soon as it is anticipated that the training sessions will fill up quickly.
