Adult Transition Information Fair

Materials and information will be available to assist parents, families, and professionals in learning about IN*SOURCE services and programs, general basic special education rights and responsibilities, and transitioning students and children to adult services.

The Westside Secondary Transition Council is sponsoring a "Spring into Transition" information and resource fair for students with disabilities and their families.  Karen Rusk, IN*SOURCE Regional Program Specialist, will be on hand to answer questions and provide materials about special education in Indiana.

The Monticello ADA Council is sponsoring an adult transition fair for students, parents and others who work with children having disabilities. This information fair is open to the public and there is no charge to attend.

It will focus on information relating to students who are transitioning to the adult world after school. Discover community resources, attend breakout sessions and network with other families living with the challenges of disabilities at the information and resource transition fair.

Jodi Lemmon and Donna Roberts, IN*SOURCE Regional Program Specialists, will be on hand to share information about IN*SOURCE, the services offered and answer questions about special education in Indiana.

"Transition Resource Fair" -  This event is sponsored by ADEC & Goshen College.  This information fair is open to the public. It will focus on information relating to students who are transitioning to the adult world after school. Discover community resources, attend breakout sessions and network with other families living with the challenges of disabilities at the transition Resource Fair presented by ADEC, Michiana Down Syndrome and IUSB. More than 70 professionals will be there to answer questions about local disability services, Social Security, vocational rehabilitation, financial planning and more.

Michelle Alcantara, IN*SOURCE Program Specialist, will be on hand to share information about IN*SOURCE, the services offered and answer questions about special education in Indiana.

Hamilton County Transition Fair 2017 - Sponsored by Hamilton
Southeastern Transition Services and Fishers High School.  

Planning for the future?  Then this information and resource fair is for you!

Anyone who has or works with special needs children are invited to attend this free transition fair hosted by Fishers High School.  A wide range of agencies and service organizations will be on hand to help your son, daughter and family regardless of child's age with transition issues.  

Some of the agencies represented can provide information on a wide variety of topics, including behavior therapy, community habilitation, day programs, special education services, supported housing, and much more.  

Camille  Svilhik, IN*SOURCE Regional Program Specialist,  will be  representing IN*SOURCE.  She will be on hand to provide information and materials about special education services in Indiana.

This resource fair is part of the Ball State University Conference, "Postsecondary Options and Supports for Transitioning Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders."  For more information about the conference, please visit Postsecondary Options and Supports for Transitioning Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. This conference and information fair is open to the public and there is no charge to attend. Registration is required. 

The conference will focus on information relating to students who are transitioning to the adult world after school. Agencies and organizations will be on hand to provide information about resources in the local community.
