Adult Transition Information Fair

Materials and information will be available to assist parents, families, and professionals in learning about IN*SOURCE services and programs, general basic special education rights and responsibilities, and transitioning students and children to adult services.

This resource fair is part of the Ball State University Conference, "Postsecondary Options and Supports for Transitioning Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders."  For more information about the conference, please visit Postsecondary Options and Supports for Transitioning Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. This conference and information fair is open to the public and there is no charge to attend. Registration is required. 

The conference will focus on information relating to students who are transitioning to the adult world after school. Agencies and organizations will be on hand to provide information about resources in the local community.

Maggie Mattingly and Jessica Terry, IN*SOURCE Regional Program Specialists, will be on hand to share information about IN*SOURCE, the services offered and answer questions about special education in Indiana.

The Ripley-Ohio-Dearborn Special Education Cooperating is sponsoring an adult transition fair for students, parents and others who work with children having disabilities. This information fair is open to the public and there is no charge to attend.

It will focus on information relating to students who are transitioning to the adult world after school. Discover community resources and network with other families living with the challenges of disabilities at the information and resource transition fair.

Sandy Fields, IN*SOURCE Regional Program Specialist, and Julie Mason, IN*SOURCE Parent Volunteer, will be on hand to explain what services IN*SOURCE provides, to answer questions about special education in Indiana, and will have materials for attendees to take home.
