Early Childhood Transition 

As your child’s third birthday approaches, your family will need to make a plan because the early intervention program ends at age three. This means your child may be moving from an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) to an Individualized Education Program (IEP). During this training we will review the necessary steps for this transition. We will explain the shift from a family-focus approach to a child-focus approach. We will also review the responsibilities of the parent. We will introduce state and federal terms and provide resources for a successful transition.
