Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC)

Each local school corporation is encouraged to establish a SEPAC that meets to proactively discuss important issues that impact students with special needs. A local SEPAC is parent-driven, and often parent-led with full support of school staff and district leaders. In this way, parents serve as valuable advisors who help shape programs and policies at the local level. This session is intended for school and family leaders who want to learn more about establishing a SEPAC for their school community.
